Kono Gyokusui is a third generation shakuhachi maker. His father and grandfather were famous shakuhachi makers in the Osaka area. He makes both jiari and jinashi flutes. For several generations he has collected very rare and elite quality bamboo for shakuhachi making.<\/p>\n
