Now that summer is over, I am looking ahead once again to the Shakuhachi Roots Pilgrimage in the fall of 2013. Just over a year until that most amazing time. I will be busy making sure that this trip will be the best one yet! Butterflies are lifting my hara up!

The last Roots Pilgrimage in November 2012 was such a great success. It gave all of us such an immense energetic empowerment and inspiration to play shakuhachi with more passion. I want to thank all the teachers, monks, and people of Japan who helped us and made our trip such a beautiful experience. Love to…
